7 Days Berber Adventure From Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate

Pick-up you from your riad in the morning, departure to the High Atlas via the Tizi N Tichka 2260 m in altitude through the kasbah of Telouet (visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui). Lunch on site. Then, an old track of the caravan, arrived at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou by the valley dotted with Berber villages Ounila. Continue on route to Ouarzazate Morocco 4×4. Dinner and overnight at a hotel by hotel category selected.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Draa Valley – Zagora

Ouarzazate output at 7.30 in the morning for the Kasbah of the Stork and panoramic view over the lake. Continue to Agdz (Agdz stop for a short break) by the Tizi-n-Tinififfte pass (1,660 meters). We take the trail that leads to the kasbah of Alkaid Tamnougale Ali, and lunch on site. In the afternoon, then the 4×4 routes through Morocco Draa Valley with its parade of palm and ksours to Zagora (arrival at the end of the day Zagora). Dinner and overnight in Zagora as selected hotel category.

Day 3: Zagora – Tafraout – Ramlia – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga:

After breakfast, we leave early because we expect a phase of 280 km of the track “Paris-Dakar Rally”, all desert, across sand rivers, lakes dry endless plains. Noting the life of nomadic people. This stage we will begin to know what is the desert, running parallel to the border with Algeria and have lunch at a shelter around Tafrawt. We will continue to track up to the famous sand dunes of Erg Chebbi fine with Merzouga. . . Dinner and hotel accommodation as selected category.

Day 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga:

This is a stage where after breakfast, we go through another of the tracks they used for “Paris-Dakar Rally by visiting the desert nomads who take tea and see the oasis where filmed some movies like “Sahara” starring Penelope Cruz. Also visit the town of “blacks”, named for its inhabitants, from trade in slaves brought from the Sudan. And after eating will change the traction of 4×4 for the animal traction. We rode on camels, we headed into the dunes to attend the magnificent sunset in the desert and sleep in a desert oasis, situated about two hours away. After arrival and a time to enjoy the quiet and vastness of the sand dunes and Bedouin dinner under the stars in a tent.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge:

You can wake up early to watch the sunrise from the top of a high dune. Breakfast and then return with the camels to the hotel where we can take a refreshing shower. Rissani and Erfoud we left to visit the fossil marble factory before moving on to the palm groves and Tinjdad Touroug. Reach one of the strengths of the South: the Todra Gorge. The channel of the River Todra gorge has formed a vertical wall of huge proportions and great beauty is a paradise for climbers and unique. Lunch on site and a half hour walk quietly to see the gorges, the afternoon continue to the Dades Valley through Boumalne. Dinner and overnight at the Gorges du Dades as selected hotel category

Day 6: Gorges du Dades – Boutghrar – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech:

We leave per track to get into the High Atlas, where we observe the change of life of the Berbers of the mountains and the difference between the desert nomads and the Atlas. We will see the caves where they live, and take tea with them and we talk to them about their habits and play with kids (I love dance Berber), and will continue to track the path will enter the Valley of Roses, where its people made creams, soaps and the famous rose-water from all natural crops of roses. Lunch in a typical local restaurant (lunch) in the village of Boutghrar and then we go into the valley to Ouarzazate to finish our route which started in Marrakech. Day 7: Marrakech – Airport:

Transfer to the airport as flight schedules and departure from Marrakech. End of our services.
