8 Days Morocco Tour From Fes to Merzouga – Gorges – Ouzoud Waterfalls
Day 1: FEZ – AIRPORT PICK UP TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL
You pick up at the airport, and transfer to the hotel/Riad, Depending on time of arrival possibility of having a first contact with the visit of the Medina of Fez. Dinner and overnight in hotel/Riad.
Day 2: FEZ
Whole day devoted to discovering the city more intellectual of the Kingdom. Numerous are the monuments that you can visit: Madrassas (Koranic schools): Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin. Souks, FES El-Jedid, the Karaouine mosque (first University in the world).
Day 3: FEZ – IFRANE – MIDELT – THE ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA
After breakfast we will leave Fez direction desert of Merzouga. We will cross the middle and High Atlas through the Valley of Ziz, where the extensive Palm-filled oasis leave see, During this day trip, the typical geography of the South of Morocco. Arrival in the evening at the door of the desert, Merzouga. Accommodation in our hostel ,Traditional Kasbah of adobe at the foot of the dunes of Merzouga.
Day 4 – MERZOUGA – KHAMLIA – ERG CHEBBI DUNES TOUR ( NIGHT IN TENTS)
You are already in the desert! .. .gozando of the magic of the dunes. In the morning, early, When the heat does not yet press. We’ll take the 4×4 and we turn to know these desert lands, Lake or Dayet Srij full of flamingos, the House of a family of Gnaouas musicians or Bambara, descendants of slaves that came from black Africa, and they will delight us with their traditional music. We go into the dunes, where it passes the old “Paris-Dakar”, We will know some nomadic families living as you can in this sea of sand and stone… a truly unforgettable adventure!! We returned to the hotel and let the vehicle 4×4 There. and in the afternoon we will assemble in the camels that will take us to the heart of the desert where we will contemplate an unforgettable sunset. Dinner and overnight in nomad tents, in the heart of the dunes of “ERG Chebbi”.
Day 5: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ERFOUD – TODRA GORGE
We wake to admire the Sun out there among the dunes, We will return to Merzouga and after breakfast, We take 4×4 and we will go to Rissani to visit its legendary market (The market more close of the desert). After the visit of Rissani continue and pass by , several villages ,Erfaud, Tinjdad ,even the Todra Gorge, dinner and accommodation at Hotel in the Todra Gorge.
Day 6: TODRA GORGE – WATERFALLS OF OUZOUD
After breakfast, We will visit the Todra gorges, whose walls are narrowed and soar, more and more abrupt, to reach 300 m height. It is one of the most famous natural sights of Morocco, Once visited this spectacular scenery we will go towards Ouzoud waterfalls, the waterfall is of more than 100 m. Dinner and accommodation at Riad/kasbah.
Day 7: WATERFALLS OF OUZOUD – BENI MELLAL – MIDDLE ATLAS – FEZ
Breakfast and visit to the waterfalls of Ouzoud, the largest in North Africa, once visited these beautiful waterfalls , We will go to Fez through the Middle atlas through Khnifra. Dinner and overnight in Hotel/Riad.
Day 8: FEZ – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT OF FEZ AND END OF THE TRIP
After breakfast transfer to the appointed time at the airport and end of our services.
